Welcome to Steve’s Weather Artifacts Collection. For over 65 years I have been associated with weather and climate. It has been a wonderful journey from watching my Father make observations, to working in Air Force weather communications, to my time at Texas A&M University, and to the many years of working with the national archive of weather data at the National Climatic Data Center.
I have “goodies” like a 1960’s 16mm film (now on CD) showing first weather satellites and a 1890’s Weather Bureau stamp set used to print forecasts on postcards. Hey, there hasn’t always been the Weather Channel.
